1. Gasoline requires more octane number for good performance of engine. Hence octane number possess high aromatics. So aromatics is desirable in gasoline.
2. Diesel requires less auto ignition temperature. At the same way good kerosene requires high smoke point.
So both need high content of paraffins.

Let's explain to me:
Why do you want to be undesirable Aromatics?
I think Aromatics has octane number high and gasoline need it. But Aromatics is not good for diesel because it will crease gum.
