SUMMARY:

Aromatics are quite undesirable in kerosene and diesel. Aromatics increases the octane number for gasoline thereby required in Gasoline. Aromatics is not good for diesel because it will create gum.

Paraffins cause Knocking-in Gasoline thereby, not required in Gasoline.
