1. Abel Flash Apparatus: For flash point below 50°C Abel flash point Apparatus is used.
2. Pensky Martens Apparatus: For flashpoint between 50°C to 120°C "Pensky Martens Apparatus" is used.
3. Cleveland Open Cup: For flash point above 120°C Cleveland Open Cup is used, it is open cup type flash point apparatus.
Abel and Pensky Martens Apparatus are of closed-cup type flash point apparatus.
