An easy way of solving:
Capacity = Vapour Generated/hr.
Economy = Vapour Generated/kg of steam.
Vapour generated is common in both;
So we can conclude that;
Capacity * hr = economy * kg of steam.
So, Capacity/Economy = Kg of steam/hr.
Capacity = Vapour Generated/hr.
Economy = Vapour Generated/kg of steam.
Vapour generated is common in both;
So we can conclude that;
Capacity * hr = economy * kg of steam.
So, Capacity/Economy = Kg of steam/hr.

Capacity = steam generated/hour (kg/hr).
And economy = steam generated/steam utilized (kg of steam).
steam utilized(kg of steam)= steam generated/economy.
Then (kg of steam)*1/hr=(steam generated/economy)*1/hr
kg of steam/hr= (steam generated/hr)*1/economy.
Since steam generated/hr=capacity because capacity is a rate.
So steam utilized(kg of steam/hr) = capacity/economy.
Therefore steam utilised = capacity/economy.

Capacity = Vapor generated/hr.
Economy = Vapor generated/kg of steam.
So, Kg of steam = Vapor generated/economy.
And dividing both sides by hour.
We get, Kg of steam/hr = (Vapor generated/hr)/economy.
Kg of steam/hr = Capacity/economy (C/E).
