Co-current heat ex becomes countercurrent, right?

Here the rate of heat transfer can be given by;

q(initial) = UAΔT(Lmtd for co-current).
q(final) = UAΔT(Lmtd for counter-current).

Since steam is condensing temperature on the shell side will be constant from inlet to the outlet so we get the same ΔT Lmtd for both the flow patterns.

Hence no effect on the rate of cooling.
