According to my view, the answer is incorrect.

Heat can travel in any directions, only for a derivative point of view we are considering it as unidirectional flow.

The heat reflectors exist but they are not mirrors per sec.

Heat radiation travels in a straight line at the speed of light. It will only travel through transparent media, like air, glass, water.

Sunlight reaches the earth atmosphere as it travels all along outer atmosphere which is in a vacuum.

Light is also a form of energy, if we concentrate light over substance at one point then it catches fire because of heat.

If heat wave doesn't travel through vacuum then how would heat transfer take place like in vacuum evaporator and other vaccum based equipments?

Mirrors reflect light and light carries heat energy. Heat energy is also carried by non-visible radiation, particularly infra-red light. That too can be reflected by mirrors, but they are designed to reflect visible light best. Infrared rays are a form of heat that can be reflected by a mirror.

Yes Vivek glass is bad conductor of heat hence it is used as insulation for hot tempered pipelines in industries.

1. Heat transfer can be occurred by 3 ways convection, conduction, radiation. In a vacuum, heat can be transfer through radiation.

2. Glass is a bad conductor of heat.

@All.

Please read the question again, the answer excluded "A" because it says "can not". If there is " can" only in the answer, option "D" would have been "All". Heat can travel through a vacuum.

I think reflection occurs because mirror is solid so, emissive power value we get something which is radiation.
