Pick out the wrong statement:
Greater is the kinematic viscosity of the liquid, greater is the thickness of the boundary layer.
Blowers develop a maximum pressure of 2 atmospheres.
Friction losses in pipe fittings are generally expressed in terms of velocity heads.
Fanning friction factor in case of turbulent flow of liquids in pipe depends upon relative roughness & Reynolds number.

It should be option A.

Due to friction, enegy losse take place not velocity head take place.

You’re wrong @Lata.

The Boundary layer keeps on decreasing as it moves away from the leading age. Kinematic viscosity means laminar flow. So, the boundary layer thickness is more.

Isn't option C correct statement?

Fitting friction losses (k) are converted into head using hL = Kv^2/2g.

Blowers develop a maximum pressure of 2 atmospheres.

This is not accurate because:
Blowers typically operate between 1 to 2.5 atmospheres (gauge).
The upper limit can be more than 2 atmospheres, depending on the design and application.
For comparison:
Fans: up to ~1.1 atm.
Blowers: ~1.1 to 2.5 atm.
Compressors: > 2.5 atm.
So saying they have a "maximum" of 2 atmospheres is misleading — it's not an absolute cap.
