As more catalyst is formed during reaction in autocatalyst reaction are nonlinear but in case of catalytic reaction rate does not vary.

A single chemical reaction is said to have undergone auto-catalysis, or be auto-catalytic, if the reaction product itself is the catalyst for that reaction.

Auto catalytic reactions are chemical reactions in which at least one of the reactants is also a product. The rate equations for auto catalytic reactions are fundamentally nonlinear. This non linearity can lead to the spontaneous generation of order.
