When work is done by the system the change in free energy is positive, not negative.

But when work is done on the system. Negative then.

We know that free energy is capacity of system to do work. So if the work is done by the system; the the free energy of the system should be negative.

Interpretation:.

ΔG<0 → Spontaneous reaction.
ΔG=0 → System is at equilibrium.
ΔG>0 → Non-spontaneous reaction.

As we know that Delta g = -sdeltat +vdeltap.

As the question say constant t and p then Delta g is zero.
