20 women = 1/16 work.
Therefore 1 woman = 1/16*20 please do not multiply and waste time.
16 men = 1/15 work.
Therefore 1 man = 1/15*16.
Man : woman = 1/15*16/1/16*20 = 16*20/15*16.
Answer : 4/3.

Formula: M1 H1 D1 = M2 H2 D2.
M (men, women, children).
So 20women * 16 days = 16 men * 15days,
20*16=16*15,
320 = 240 ( we get ),
4 = 3 ( after simplified).
So, 4:3.
M (men, women, children).
So 20women * 16 days = 16 men * 15days,
20*16=16*15,
320 = 240 ( we get ),
4 = 3 ( after simplified).
So, 4:3.

Given,
20 women = 1/16 ,16 men = 1/15.
Women = 1/16*20 = 1/320.
Men = 1/15*16 = 1/240.
Man:women = 1/240 :1/320.
= 1/3 : 1/4.
= 4:3 (since 1/3/1/4 =1/3 * 4/1 = 4/3 =4:3).
20 women = 1/16 ,16 men = 1/15.
Women = 1/16*20 = 1/320.
Men = 1/15*16 = 1/240.
Man:women = 1/240 :1/320.
= 1/3 : 1/4.
= 4:3 (since 1/3/1/4 =1/3 * 4/1 = 4/3 =4:3).

i hav an other way as
20 women take 16days
so, 1 women take 16/20 = 4/5 days
similarly ,16 men take 15 days
so , 1 man take 15/16 days
therefore 4/5 * 15/16 = 3/4 = 4:3
20 women take 16days
so, 1 women take 16/20 = 4/5 days
similarly ,16 men take 15 days
so , 1 man take 15/16 days
therefore 4/5 * 15/16 = 3/4 = 4:3

It should be option A.
Men:women=240:320.
=3:4.
Here, the question is asking the ratio for men and women, but not for women and men.

Its very simple,
WOMEN = 20 * 16 = 240.
MEN = 16 *15 = 320.
MEN/WOMEN =320/240 =4/3 (used 80's table).
RATIO = 4 : 3..
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

If 1 W = 1/320 (1 W = 1/20*16 and 1M = 1/16*15 ).
1 M = 1/240.
Than the Ratio is = 320 : 240.
= 4:3 Answer. Option (B).
1 M = 1/240.
Than the Ratio is = 320 : 240.
= 4:3 Answer. Option (B).
