Hi it's not 1 hr. The question is very clear. It is 1 2/3 hrs.
1 2/3 is in mixed fraction. To know more about converting mixed fraction you have @Mona's reply in the forum.

When distance is same. At that time use the following formula.
v1t1= v2t2.
We have:
v1=240.
t1=5.
t2=5/3.
Therefore we easily find out v2 =720.
v1t1= v2t2.
We have:
v1=240.
t1=5.
t2=5/3.
Therefore we easily find out v2 =720.

Use the simple formula to solve such type example.
v1t1 = v2t2t.
v1t1 = v2t2t.

An aeroplane leaves late by 30 minutes. It has to cover a distance of 1200Km. The pilot has to increase its speed by 200Km/Hr to reach its destination on time. Find out the original speed of the aeroplane.
