A and B together have Rs. 1210. If of A's amount is equal to of B's amount, how much amount does B have?
Rs. 460
Rs. 484
Rs. 550
Rs. 664
Answer: Option
Explanation:

4 A = 2 B
15 5

A = 2 x 15 B
5 4

A = 3 B

I don't get it. How do you find B's amount directly?

From where did you get the 3/2?

Simply we can solve by simultaneous equation.

A+B = 1210.......equation 1.

(4/15)A = (2/5)B.......equation 2.

(4/15)1210-B = 2/5 B.

B = 484.

That's it.

But I still don't understand why we first calculate the ratio, final answer depend on the formula.

Let's us take both the difference (4/15-2/5=2/10).

The difference is 2/10 their total amount of them is 1210.

Take difference and multiply with the original amount.

= 2/10*1210=484.

This is my point of view if there is any mistake please don't mind.
