(a+b) = 1210 given.
a4/15 = b2/5 given.
Then, a/b = (2/15)*(15/4).
=> a:b = 3:2.
Now, 3x+2x = 1210.
Then, x = 242.
So, b will be 2*242 = 484(ans).
&, a will be 3*242 = 726.

4/15, 2/5.
Lcm of 15 and 5 = 15.
4/15 * 15 = 4.
2/5 * 15 = 6.
Adding 4 + 6 = 10.
1210 ÷ 10 = 121.
4 * 121 = 484.
6 * 121= 726.
484 + 726 = 1210.
Lcm of 15 and 5 = 15.
4/15 * 15 = 4.
2/5 * 15 = 6.
Adding 4 + 6 = 10.
1210 ÷ 10 = 121.
4 * 121 = 484.
6 * 121= 726.
484 + 726 = 1210.

Don't confuse about 2/5 it isn't that which is in question statement while it is (A:B=3:2 so B's =2/5)

Hey rekha,
It is nothing. They used the formula
To find a=total amt given*(a ratio/a+b ratio)
To find b=total amt given*(b ratio/a+b ratio)
