My questions are:
1. If 2\5*1210 = 484 works for B.
Then A should be 4/15*1210. But it doesn't give the answer.
2. Why we are calculating A:B?

A+B Total value is R.s 1210.
So Directly we can Calculate B share,
Acc to the question B share 2/5,
Thus 1210 of 2/3,
= 1210 * 2/3,
= 484 RS.

Nice one more method
1210 is total of 2 members
Assume b is x
therefore is A is 1210-x
so 4/15*(1210-x)=2/5*x
4(1210-x)=6x
10x=4840
x=484

so 4/15*(1210-x)=2/5*x

10x=4840
x=484

Hey rekha,
It is nothing.They used the formula
To find a=total amt given*(a ratio/a+b ratio)
To find b=total amt given*(b ratio/a+b ratio)

A+B=1210
(4/15)A=(2/15)B
A=(15/4)(2/5)B
A/B=3/2
Take it as A/3=B/2
Adding denominators 5P.
So,5P=1210
P=242
B's Amount is 2P i.e,2(242)=484
(4/15)A=(2/15)B
A=(15/4)(2/5)B
A/B=3/2
Take it as A/3=B/2
Adding denominators 5P.
So,5P=1210
P=242
B's Amount is 2P i.e,2(242)=484

A : B = 3 : 2, total = ₹1210.
2. Total parts = 3 + 2 = 5 ⇒ 1 part = ₹242
3. A = 3 parts = ₹242 × 3 = ₹726.
Answers:
A = ₹726.
B = ₹484.
2. Total parts = 3 + 2 = 5 ⇒ 1 part = ₹242
3. A = 3 parts = ₹242 × 3 = ₹726.
Answers:
A = ₹726.
B = ₹484.

A+B = 1210.
(4/15)A = (2/5)B,
2A = 3B.
Therefore, A = (3B)/2,
and substituting, (3B/2) + B = 1210,
and hence, 5B=2420 => B = 484.
(4/15)A = (2/5)B,
2A = 3B.
Therefore, A = (3B)/2,
and substituting, (3B/2) + B = 1210,
and hence, 5B=2420 => B = 484.

A+B = 1210.
(4/15)A = (2/5)B.
A = (30/20)B.
A = (3/2)B,
A = 1.5B.
A+B = 1210.
.5B+B = 1210.
2.5B = 1210,
B = 1210/2.5,
B = 484.
(4/15)A = (2/5)B.
A = (30/20)B.
A = (3/2)B,
A = 1.5B.
A+B = 1210.
.5B+B = 1210.
2.5B = 1210,
B = 1210/2.5,
B = 484.

A+B=1210.
A:B=3:2.
A/B=3/2.
2A=3B.
Therefore, A=(3B)/2.
And substituting, (3B/2)+B=1210.
And hence, 5B=2420 => B=484 Rs.
A:B=3:2.
A/B=3/2.
2A=3B.
Therefore, A=(3B)/2.
And substituting, (3B/2)+B=1210.
And hence, 5B=2420 => B=484 Rs.
