A+B=1210
4A/15=2B/5
A=3B/2.

3B/2+B=1210
5B=2420
B=484.

Why 4/15 turned to 15/4? Please explain.

Utkalika said:   4 years ago
@Harshita

4/15 is on the left side.
So when we take it to the right side of the equal sign then we reciprocate it i.e., 4/15 becomes 15/4.

The same rule applies from right to left.
