According to the question, the sum of three (10 parts + 15 parts + 24 parts) numbers is 98.
Similarly, (10+15+24) parts = 98.
or, 49 parts = 98.
or, 1 part = 2.
Finally, the second number is 15 parts.
or, 15*2 = 30 (:1 part = 2).

Add same value adjacent to blank space.
i.e,
2:3:3,
5:5:8 and multiply,
10:15:24.
Total Sum = 98.
Total sum of ratio=49.
Divide = 98/49=2.
Multiply 2 * 15 = 30 Ans.
Here, 15 is ratio of the 2nd number which is to be find.

We can try a simpler method:
Let the three numbers be x,y, and z.
It's given that,
x+y+z = 98 --------> (i)
Now, x/y = 2/3
So, x = 2y/3
And, y/z = 5/8
So, z = 8y/5.
Now putting the values of x and z in (i), we get
2y/3+y+8y/5 = 98,
(10y + 15y + 24y)/15 = 98,
49y/15 = 98,
49y = 1470,
y = 30.

To get ratio as f:s:t we make s ratio equal in both multiply first ratio with 5 and second ratio with 3 then you will get 10:15 and 15:24 now we can write 10:15:24 and on adding them the result is 98 and we get x=2 and s=2(15)=30.
