Fathers age - Mothers age -----> 38-36 = 2,
brothers age ---> (x-4),
so,
(x-4)=2,
x = 6.

Simple,

When Ayesha was born, the father's age is 38.
When his brother 4 years younger than her sister mother's age is 36.
Then 4 years of the father's increasing,
So, 42 - 36,
6 yrs.

It's simple.

Ayesha father was 38yrs when she was born.

And ayesha Mother was 36yrs after 4 years when her brother born.

Therefore, Ayesha mother was 32 years when SHE was born (36-4).

ANSWER: 38-32 = 6 years of difference between age of HER Parents.

Take Ayesha age at a time to find the difference.

Ayesha age=0 then father age=38.
Ayesha's brother, who is younger than him by 4 years.
When Ayesha'brother born his mother age =36 that time Ayesha age is 4 year.
So back to four years that time Ayesha age is 0 and his mother age is 32.
Now, find the difference of father and mother age because of now Ayesha age become=0.
To find differene of age either Ayesha age for his brother age must be =0<<<<<.

Ayesha's age = 0
Father's age = 38
Mother's age = 36

Mother's age =32.

Ayesha's mother was 36 years old when her brother four years younger to her means when Ayesha born her mother's age 36 - 4 = 32 years.

That time father age was 38 yrs.

Now father age X+38 and as well as Mother's age X+36.

Brother is younger than Ayesha was 4 yrs

So, X-4 .

Now Difference = (X+38) - (X+36) = X-4

X+38-X-36 = X-4

2 = X-4

So,

X = 6 yrs.

I don't get it. How can we assume that Ayesha's brother was born when she was 4 ? all the thing is given was difference between them is 4 years. Anybody please explain.

AM - AF + 38 + 4 = 36.

AF - AM = (38 + 34) - 36.

AF - AM = 42 - 36.

=> 6 (ANS).
