Ayesha's age = 0,
Father's age = 38.
Mother's age = I have no clue from the info.

Now they say bro is 4 years younger to Aisha meaning, she ages by 4 years so will her dad and her mom will age by 4 years from the time she was born.

Ayesha brother is 0 years.
Ayesha = 4 years
Ayesha father = 38+4 = 42
Ayehsa mother = 36 (Given when a bro is born her age is mentioned )

So by the mother age, now we can re-trace her age 4 years back = 32 years.

So a difference of father and mother = 6 years ( 42-36).

According to me, the solution is;

Ayesha born father age 38 years means ration is 1x:38x assume.

Why you minus 4 again in this value.

Again skip to this part.,
Her brother is 4 years younger than her
So here, Ayesha and brother ratio is assumed.
4x:1x.
No need to work on brother age.

According to the question, it's self says at a time if Ayesha born her father age is 38 years and mother's age is 36years and her brother 4 years younger than her.

So parents diff is 38 - 36 = 2 years.

Take Ayesha age at a time to find the difference.

Ayesha age=0 then father age=38.
Ayesha's brother, who is younger than him by 4 years.
When Ayesha'brother born his mother age =36 that time Ayesha age is 4 year.

I think that when ayesha was born her dads age is 38 at that time her moms age must be 32 when her brother was born that is four years younger to her she might be of any age might be bigger to him by 1 year or could be in months like approximately 11 months and so many days so her brother is 4 years younger to her so add the year of her bro that is 4 years to her dads age 38+4=42 and her moms age 32 +4=36now when u less 42-36 u get 6 years!! its my assumption!!

AM - AF + 38 + 4 = 36.

AF - AM = (38 + 34) - 36.

AF - AM = 42 - 36.

=> 6 (ANS).

Let Ayesha be A, father age be F.
Her Father will be F = 38-A.
And Ayesha s brother, 4 yr younger than Ayesha be A-4.

Her mother = 36-(A-4).
Parents difference = 38-A-(36-A-4).
= 38-A-36+A+4,
=42-36,
= 6yr.

Suppose Ayesha was born in year 1990.
Then acc. to question, her brother who is 4 years younger to her
Should have born in 1994.

Now her father's age in 1990: 38.
Therefore, her father's age in 1994: 38 + 4 = 42.
Thus difference between ages of parents in year 1994:
42(father's age) - 36(mother's age) = 6 years.

When ayesha's mother was 36 her brother is 4yr younger to her.
When ayesha's was born her father's age is 38.

Now in this case we cal wats the diff of parents age:

So,36-4(mother's age-son's age)=32(mother's age 4yr back)
When ayesha's was born her parents age is-
38-32(faher- mother)= 6years(differ).

See the @Virender rajput answer it is clear. In question they didn't give any pull stop(.) and comma(,) if you see care fully they gave the mother age is when her brother born means it is 36 but her father age at Ayesha's born so we have to add 4 years to father age.

So, X-4 .

Now Difference = (X+38) - (X+36) = X-4
