We have
(1/4 of 1/3 of 2/5)x of 40%=15
1/30 x of 40%=15
(x/30*100)/40=15
= 180
(1/4 of 1/3 of 2/5)x of 40%=15
1/30 x of 40%=15
(x/30*100)/40=15
= 180

I agree with @Mala, Why C is not the correct answer? Even I got the answer A = B.

@Abhi.
10% of 100 is 10 only not 90, if it is 10% lower by 100 then it is 90.
10% of 100 is 10 only not 90, if it is 10% lower by 100 then it is 90.

it so simple
A = x% of Y = xy/100.
B = Y% of X = xy/100.
Hence A = B.
A = x% of Y = xy/100.
B = Y% of X = xy/100.
Hence A = B.

A=x% of y,
= y * (x/100).
B= y% of x,
= x * (y/100).
= y * (x/100).
B= y% of x,
= x * (y/100).

If we take x value less than y then a is greater than b.
