Total runs he scored = 110.
The scored 3 boundaries and 8 sixes=> 3 * 4 + 6 * 8 = 60,
The runs scored by him running between the wickets => 110 - 60 = 50.
By unitary method,
For 110runs ---------100%
For 50 runs ----------?.
That follows as = 50 * 100/110 = result.

= 110-(3*4+8*6).
= 110-60.
= 50.
= 50/110*100.
= 5/11*100.
Percentage will be calculate first 5 * 100/11.
= 500/11,
= 45.45,
= 45.5/11.
= 110-60.
= 50.
= 50/110*100.
= 5/11*100.

110 out of 100.
50 out of ?.
We can cut all '0's cross way (X) or up and down (/).
The Answer may come like 5/11.
So we can conclude 45 * 5/11.

3x4+6x8 = 60 110-60 = 50.
50/110x100 = 500/11.
50/110x100 = 500/11.
