Answer: Option
Explanation:
Let the total profit be Rs. 100.
| After paying to charity, A's share = Rs. | ![]() |
95 x | 3 | ![]() |
= Rs. 57. |
| 5 |
If A's share is Rs. 57, total profit = Rs. 100.
| If A's share Rs. 855, total profit = | ![]() |
100 | x 855 | ![]() |
= 1500. |

3 Parts of A is --------------------> 855.
2 Parts of B is ---------------------> X.
So first find the value of X. Cross multiply 2 Parts of B * 855/3 =>2*855/3=570
2 Part of B is 570.
Now add both value of A share and B share= 855+570= 1425.
1425 is 95% because 5% is given to charity.
5% of 1425 is 75.
then add 5% and 95% = 1425 + 75 =1500.
2 Parts of B is ---------------------> X.
So first find the value of X. Cross multiply 2 Parts of B * 855/3 =>2*855/3=570
2 Part of B is 570.

1425 is 95% because 5% is given to charity.
5% of 1425 is 75.
then add 5% and 95% = 1425 + 75 =1500.

3% of a value 855
So 855/3 *2=A VALUE
So, 570 of a Value 855+570=1425
So, the answer is 1425.
So 855/3 *2=A VALUE
So, 570 of a Value 855+570=1425
So, the answer is 1425.

3% is 855.
Then for 5 portions 855÷3=285*5=1450.
Now we have to consider the amount which goes to Charity 5%.
So 1450 is just 95%.
1450÷95*100. =1500.
Hence proved.
Then for 5 portions 855÷3=285*5=1450.
Now we have to consider the amount which goes to Charity 5%.
So 1450 is just 95%.
1450÷95*100. =1500.
Hence proved.

@All.
Here All are having a problem with that 3/5 part used for A's shares.
Below;
The Ratio is given as 3:2.
Adding 3+2 we get, answer as 5,
now to find A's share, we take 3 as per given in a ratio of 3:2.
And then we divide 3 with the whole of 5 which gives us value 3/5.

Hi.
After giving 5% profit to charity,
A's share is 855 i.e 95% is remaining.
hence For 100%, (100*855)/95=900,
So, Now A's share is 900,
Hence From the ratio, we can calculate.
3x=900.
x=300.
As we know B's ratio is 2x=2*300=600.
Hence, add both A's share and B's share.
900+600=1500.
This is the total profit.

Hence, add both A's share and B's share.
900+600=1500.
This is the total profit.

3:2=A's profit : B's profit.
Let Total profit be x,
A's profit = (3/5) * (95/100) *x=855.
Therefore on calculating Total profit,
X = 1500.
Let Total profit be x,
A's profit = (3/5) * (95/100) *x=855.
Therefore on calculating Total profit,
X = 1500.
