Therefore on calculating Total profit,
X = 1500.

Hi, I have used a reverse method i.e,
A's share = 855
So I have used (A's ratio/total ratio)*y= 855
i.e,
(3/5) * y = 855
I got the answer as 1425.
Please, tell me why I got the wrong answer?

X = 285,B share is 2(285) = 570.
570 + 855 = 1425.
Remaining percentage left is 95 is 1425.

NOW DIVIDE 855 / 3 = 285 (NOW WE CAN GET 1 X OF A).
NOW WE KNOW 1 X OF THE TOTAL 5X.
