It's so easy just see if 2nd digit comes in 1st digit table and then keep same series for other numbers. For example 24 comes in table of 8 so 8 into 3 will be 24. If we divide 24/2 then it will be 12. If 12 multiplied by 3 then it will be 36. 36 divide by 2 it will become 18. 18 multiplied by 3 will be 54. 54/2 will be 27. So answer will be 27.

8, 24, 12, 36, 18, 54, (....)

8*3=24, 8+4=12....by adding 4
12*3=36, 12+6=18...by adding 4+2=6
18*3=54, 18+9=27...by adding 6+3=9
...by adding 9+4=13 and so on.by increasing nos.like 2,3,4,5 and so on .
1st number*3=24
2nd number*3=36
3rd number*3=54
4th number*3=???

Hi Tarun

You are wrong. Then what about other numbers previous to 36 (8, 24, 12) ?

Let me explain in detail.

...
16 / 2 = 08
08 x 3 = 24
24 / 2 = 12
12 x 3 = 36
36 / 2 = 18
18 x 3 = 54
54 / 2 = 27 [The required answer]
27 x 3 = 81
...

I hope this will help you. Have a nice day!

8 9 17 26 90 ?

The difference between 8 and 9 is "1" which is 1^2.
The difference between 9 and 17 is "8" which is 2^3.
The difference between 17 and 26 is "9" which is 3^2.
The difference between 26 and 90 is "64" which is 4^3.

Then the answer is 5^2 which is "25".

I have a suggestion. We can also add the 3rd and 5th numbers to get the previous numbers example.

8,24,12,36,18,54 - 8,24,12 = 12+12 = 24 to get 24 in the 1st series

then 36,18,54 = 18+18 to get 36 then 3rd series 27+27 = 54.

@Mohit.

6 8 7
3 64 4
24 48 ?

42 will be answer
Be concentrated on first and last member.
6x2 = 12
12x3 =36
36-12= 24

8x2= 16
16x4= 64
64-16= 48

In same manner :
7*2= 14
14*4= 56
56*14 = 42

It's 30.

On each Row,
7mod(1st column +2nd column) = 7mod(3rd column),
For 1st row, 7 mod(6+8)=7 mod(7),
For 2nd row, 7 mod (3+64)=7 mod(4),
For 3rd row, 7 mod(24+48)=7 mod(30).

Here the next term is twice the previous term like 24 is just twice of 12 and 36 just twice of 18 so 54 is just twice of 27 so answer is 27.

We can take 2 series.

8, 12, 18, 26 with 4, 6, 8 differences.

24, 36, 54, 78 which is multiple of 3 for above terms?
