2 series are there:

8,12,18,.... and 24,36,54.....

8+3 = 12.
12+6 = 18.
18+9 = 27.

Multiples of 3 are added.

12*3 = 36%2 = 18;

So answer is 27.

12-8 = 4 * 6 = 24.
18-12 = 6 * 6 = 36.
27-18 = 9 * 6 = 54.
So, 27 is the answer.

so 54/2=27.
