Seperates the patterns like this
582, 588, ?, 600.
605, 611, 617.
In each pattern add +6 and then;
588 + 6 = 594.
594 + 6 = 600.
582, 588, ?, 600.
605, 611, 617.
In each pattern add +6 and then;
588 + 6 = 594.
594 + 6 = 600.

I think 600 is the correct answer because 617+23 = 640 should come if they do it alternatively.

@Shashank
I have one doubt.
588+6 = 594
594+ 6 = 600 then
600+ 6 = .....?
In your point of view, we have options is there..
1) 605
2) 634
Please clarify it clearly.

My answer is 617.
Because all number are composite number except 617 (which is prime number).

If we consider the series;
582+23=605 ----> 1st term
605-17=588 ----> 2nd term
588+23=611 ----> 3rd term
611-17=594 ----> (which is not 4th term) so instead of 634, it should be 594.
582+23=605 ----> 1st term

588+23=611 ----> 3rd term
611-17=594 ----> (which is not 4th term) so instead of 634, it should be 594.
