Agree with above, 331 is also the only option, that when all digits are added, the answer is a single digit (meaning lower than 10).

Answer is 383. In the given list of numbers, if we divide 2nd and 3rd digit number it will produce the 1st digit number.
Ex:- 331= 3/1=3.
482= 8/2=4.
551= 5/1=5.
263= 6/3=2.
383= 8/3 for this number we don't get the first digit, when 2nd and 3rd numbers are divided.
362= 6/2=3.
284= 8/4=2.
Ex:- 331= 3/1=3.
482= 8/2=4.
551= 5/1=5.
263= 6/3=2.
383= 8/3 for this number we don't get the first digit, when 2nd and 3rd numbers are divided.
362= 6/2=3.
284= 8/4=2.

Answer may be 331 also as all other numbers in the series has their digit's sum of either 11 or 14 except 331.

It is so easy @Rajesh multiply the end numbers of the 3 digit numbers so you get the mid value.
ex:
331 = 3*1 = 3(middle number).
482 = 4*2 = 8(middle number).
But,
338 = 3*8 = 24(wrong answer).
ex:
331 = 3*1 = 3(middle number).
482 = 4*2 = 8(middle number).
But,
338 = 3*8 = 24(wrong answer).

Another possible answer is 331. If we divide all the given number by 3 then remainder will be 2, except 331.

Can give a better explanation with other logic for same problem.

3*1=3 , 3(3)1 =331.
4*2=8 , 4(8)2 =482.
3*3=9 , 3(8)3 =383,
In each number except 383, the product of first and third digits is the middle one.
4*2=8 , 4(8)2 =482.
3*3=9 , 3(8)3 =383,
In each number except 383, the product of first and third digits is the middle one.

3 * 1 = 3 331.
4 * 2 = 8 482.
5 * 1 = 5 551.
2 * 3 = 6 263.
3 * 3 = 9 383 it is wrong.
3 * 2 = 6 362.
2 * 4 = 8 284.
4 * 2 = 8 482.
5 * 1 = 5 551.
2 * 3 = 6 263.
3 * 3 = 9 383 it is wrong.
3 * 2 = 6 362.
2 * 4 = 8 284.

Another Option:
If we divide each number by 3 then we get remainder 2 except in 331. So option 'c' is also odd man out.
If we divide each number by 3 then we get remainder 2 except in 331. So option 'c' is also odd man out.

Very simple... you know 331... 3 and 1=3 there middle value..3(3)1
Next find same 482....4*2=8 middle 4(8)2
551 5*1=5 middle 5(5)1
263 2*3=6 """ 2(6)3
383 3*3=9 there middle value not same 3(9)3.
Next find same 482....4*2=8 middle 4(8)2
551 5*1=5 middle 5(5)1
263 2*3=6 """ 2(6)3
383 3*3=9 there middle value not same 3(9)3.
