If you add 1 to every option it becomes a multiple of 3 except for 331. Then why can't we have 331 as the answer?

3*3=9 hear for the 8. So read the sentence means odd man out because no multiply in digits so 383 is right.

Answer is 383.
i.e 331 =>3*1=3.
Take first digit and last digit, multiply that you have to get middle digit. But here in 383 if you multiply first and last digit you will get 9 but here it is 383 so that 383 is odd number in that series.
