Each numbers should add with odd numbers, first number is 1 add with 3 we get 4 like wise we add 4 with 5, 9 with 7 etc.

23 is the odd man out.

1*1,2*2,3*3,4*4,5*5,.... missed value 23..... the answer is 23.

23 cannot be divided by any other number . and can only be divided by itself .

2*2=4.
3*3=9.
4*4=16.
5*5=25.
6*6=36.

23 is prime number and it has no square root so that the answer is 23.

Why can't it be 23?

The difference between them is odd and following a sequence like 3, 5, 7, 7, 9. So it can be 23 also I think.

Here 23 is unnecessary present here.
