27.
On dividing a number by 56, we get 29 as remainder. On dividing the same number by 8, what will be the remainder ?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Formula: (Divisor*Quotient) + Remainder = Dividend.
Soln:
(56*Q)+29 = D -------(1)
D%8 = R -------------(2)
From equation(2),
((56*Q)+29)%8 = R.
=> Assume Q = 1.
=> (56+29)%8 = R.
=> 85%8 = R
=> 5 = R.

Divisible 56 is divided by 8 without reminder.
So we take remainder 29 was divided by 8 is 3*8 are 24 and the remainder is 5.
So we take remainder 29 was divided by 8 is 3*8 are 24 and the remainder is 5.

If the 2nd divisor is a factor of 1st divisor, then divide the 1st remainder by the 2nd divisor. This is the correct answer.

x%56 = 29;
x%8 = ?
We know 56 is divisible by 8 exactly.
So we will divide the number 29/8 = 5.
So we get remainder 5.
x%8 = ?
We know 56 is divisible by 8 exactly.
So we will divide the number 29/8 = 5.
So we get remainder 5.

We know 56 is divisible by 8,
so a number divisible by 56, remainder is 29,
then 29/8, we got 5 remainder.
so ans is: 5
so a number divisible by 56, remainder is 29,
then 29/8, we got 5 remainder.
so ans is: 5

Let number be : 56*1+29=85.
When 85 divided by 8. Remainder is 5.
Similarly,
56*2+29=141.
141/8, gives 5 remainder.
When 85 divided by 8. Remainder is 5.
Similarly,
56*2+29=141.
141/8, gives 5 remainder.

Let x be the number & why be the quotient. Then,
x =56*y+29.
= (8*7y)+(8*3)+5.
= 8*(7y+3)+5.
So, remainder is 5.
x =56*y+29.
= (8*7y)+(8*3)+5.
= 8*(7y+3)+5.
So, remainder is 5.

According to question,
56 * Q + 29 = N.
Assume Q as 1, then 56 * 1 + 29 = 85,
We get N = 85,
85/8 leaves remainder 5.
56 * Q + 29 = N.
Assume Q as 1, then 56 * 1 + 29 = 85,
We get N = 85,
85/8 leaves remainder 5.

In a simple way :
56+29=85.
Here 85/56 we will get 29 as the remainder.
Again;
85/8 we will get 5 as the remainder.
56+29=85.
Here 85/56 we will get 29 as the remainder.
Again;
85/8 we will get 5 as the remainder.
