A more easy way:
Number = 269 * 68 = 269 * (67 +1).
= 269 * 67 + 269.
Now 269 * 67 is divisible by 67.
So, we have to check only the remainder of (267 ÷ 67).
Which is 1.
Number = 269 * 68 = 269 * (67 +1).
= 269 * 67 + 269.
Now 269 * 67 is divisible by 67.
So, we have to check only the remainder of (267 ÷ 67).
Which is 1.

@Skull Designs.
x * 1.2125 = 12125.
So, x = 12125/1.2125.
So x=10000.
x * 1.2125 = 12125.
So, x = 12125/1.2125.
So x=10000.
