1.
It was Sunday on Jan 1, 2006. What was the day of the week Jan 1, 2010?
Sunday
Saturday
Friday
Wednesday
Answer: Option
Explanation:

On 31st December, 2005 it was Saturday.

Number of odd days from the year 2006 to the year 2009 = (1 + 1 + 2 + 1) = 5 days.

On 31st December 2009, it was Thursday.

Thus, on 1st Jan, 2010 it is Friday.

1 year = 365 days and 8 hours.

So after 3 year = 3*8 = 24 hours = 1 days.

1 jan 2006 = Sunday count 1 .
1 jan 2007 = Monday count 1.
1 jan 2008 = Tuesday count 1.
1 jan 2009 = Thursday count 2 because 2008 is leap year(2008/4=0).
1 jan 2010 = Friday. Req. answer.
