1.
It was Sunday on Jan 1, 2006. What was the day of the week Jan 1, 2010?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
On 31st December, 2005 it was Saturday.
Number of odd days from the year 2006 to the year 2009 = (1 + 1 + 2 + 1) = 5 days.
On 31st December 2009, it was Thursday.
Thus, on 1st Jan, 2010 it is Friday.

Given info is :
1.01.2006 --- Sunday.
Since 2006 is non leap year. 1 odd day
i.e 1 day extra for the next year.
1.01.2007 --- Monday.
similarly for 2007 .
1.01.2008 -- Tuesday.
2008 is a leap year. So 2 days extra.
1.01.2009 -- Thursday(2 days gap).
1.01.2010 -- Friday.
So Friday is answer.

2006, 2007, 2008 (Leap Year), 2009.
2008 is leap year- add 2 No.
Other is 3 No(2006, 2007, 2009).
So you add + 5 days.
That mean Its day is Friday

Odd days came as 5 so it should be Friday not Thursday. We take Sunday as 0. So if we start it from Sunday then till the counting of 5 it should come as Friday.
