700 must also be a leap year as it is divisible by 4.

By reading above comment it can be concluded that leap years are those which are completely divisible by 4 and 400 too. It doesn't matter if it is divisible by 100 or not.

No no @Saurabh you are wrong. Why because 2004 is a leap year? But it doesn't divided by 400.

So don't go in that way.

Only century years should be divided by 400 and non century years should by divided by 4.

Hence 700 is an ordinary year.

Can you explain this question easily?

The years which are divisible by both 100 and 4 but not divisible by 400 are not leap year.

Hence 1700, 1300 are not leap year.

=> Every year divisible by 4 is a leap year, if it is not a century.

=> Every 4th century is a leap year and no other century is a leap year.

All answers are leap years.

Dates before 1582-10-15 belong to the Julian calendar.
There the leap years are year decided by 4.
So, answers A to C is leap years.

You are right @Nishant.

500 is not leap year because it is not divisible by 400.

2016 is leap year. Because it is divisible by 4.
