In Years 100, 200, 300, 500, 600, 900, which are leap years? How can we define them?

For finding a year is leap year or not follow 2 conditions.

1. If the given year is perfect century divide it must be divisible by 400.
2. If the year is not perfect century then it must be divisible by 4.

If not divisible then given year is not leap year, the perfect century are like( 100, 200, 1600, 1700, 1800, 1900, 2000).

You are right @Nishant.

500 is not leap year because it is not divisible by 400.

2016 is leap year. Because it is divisible by 4.

All answers are leap years.

Dates before 1582-10-15 belong to the Julian calendar.
There the leap years are year decided by 4.
So, answers A to C is leap years.

=> Every year divisible by 4 is a leap year, if it is not a century.

=> Every 4th century is a leap year and no other century is a leap year.

The years which are divisible by both 100 and 4 but not divisible by 400 are not leap year.

Hence 1700, 1300 are not leap year.

Can you explain this question easily?

Only century years should be divided by 400 and non century years should by divided by 4.

Hence 700 is an ordinary year.
