In 100 years how can you consider 24 leap years and 76 ordinary days. Please can anyone explain clearly?

Sankar Ganesh said:   9 years ago
The first year of the first century must be a leap year. So the first century contains 25 leap years.

Praveen said:   2 decades ago
100 years contains only 24 leap years because 100 is not divisible by 400 do minus 5 is correct.

Century (100,200,300) has no leap years. So we did not get 2 as odd day i.e., Tuesday.
