Another question to further explain the above statement

What will be day after 366 says(keeping today as monday)??
subtracting it from 392.
392-366=26.
26/7=3.5/7( where 3 is quotient.
5 is remainder.
7 is divisor.)
now moving back 5 days (because of remainder).
it will be thursday.
another way to calcultae thursday.
as 7*4=28
but the diff is 26
28-26=2
moving ahead(instead of backward) from monday,it will tuesday first then wednesday but the third day will be thusday so we add
2 days to manday and the result will be the third day.

The easiest way to calculate this is;

Just calculate that how far the number which is givn from the multiple of 7.. like if i change the question like.

Eg:

Que. =#If today is Sunday then after 50 days it will be?
Ans. = ATQ, day of 50th day.

Seeing the multiple of 7. like 7, 14, 21...49.

Then on 49th day, we'll get Sunday but on next day i.e. 50th day it's MONDAY.

Eg: Today is 1st Monday, so after 7 days i.e. 8th is Monday so
From the given question: Today is Monday after 61 days it will
be Friday.

Sol: In 61
8*7=56 i.e. 57th is Monday
58 --- tue
59 --- wed
60 ---- thursday
61 ----- Friday

Today is considered as Monday.
61th day=?
a week has 7 days..
there are 8 weeks, 7 days in 61.
8*7=56.

The 56th day must be the same Monday.
56+remaining days from 61.
(ie)56+(61-56).
=56+5.
56(mon) + 5(tue + wed + thur + fri and the fifth day is Saturday)
so, the answer is Saturday.

After 61 days means it should be counted as 62nd day.

So 61/7=56 (quotient). So 56th day is Sunday.

62-56=6 that is Saturday.

So and is Saturday.

Take a simple example, i.e,

Today is Monday after 2 days it will be which day?

The answer will be Thursday day, not Wednesday.

Monday day code is 1.

Given days + Monday daycode=(1+61)=62.

To find odd days 62 is divided by 7.
62÷7=6 remainder.

Firstly calculate the leap years and ordinary days in 61 days.

(15 leap + 46 ordinary days)
[15*2+46*1] =76. "Because leap year having 2 odd days ".

In 76 days there are 10 weeks.
So left 6 are reminder odd days.
Answer is Saturday.
