Only divide the year by 4 if the remaining is 0 then add 28 in years if the remaining is 1 then add 6.
And if it is 2/3 then add 11 so 2007/4 we get 3 as a remainder.

So we add 11 in the year.
The answer is 2007+11 = 2018.

@All.

Divide the given no by 4 if remainder is 0 add 28 to the year if remainder is 1 add 6 or if remainder is 2or3 add 11, in this case, the remainder is 3.

So, 2007 + 11 = 2018.

@All.

Why won't 2014 be considered as its sum be 21 odd days then 21/3 = remainder being 0 or 2014 - 2007.
So 7yrs + 0 odd day.
=>7/ 7 = 0
Hence 2014 could also be the same year? right?

2008-2 odd days-leap year.
2009-1 odd days.
2010-1 odd days.
2011-1 odd days.
2012-2 odd days-leap year.
2013-1 odd days.
2014-1 odd days.
2015-1odd days.
2016-2 odd days - leap year
2017-1 odd days.
2018-1 odd days.

Up to total odd days 14,
So 1 week = 7days
so 14/7 = 0.
The zero comes 14th odd day of the 2018 year
So the answer is 2018.

Here, 2012 also get sum = 7
So 1 week = 7 days,
So 7/7=0.

Take different between 2007 and 2018.

2007 - 2018 = 11+3(odd day)=14 which is exactly divided by 7.
The reminder is 0.
So, 2007 is the same will be as 2018.

Short trick for solving.

One has to divide the given year by Four.
If :
Remainder = 1 Then Add or Subtract 6 years in given years.
Remainder = 2 or 3 Then Add or Subtract 11 years in given years.
Remainder = 0 Then Add or Subtract 28 years in given years.

@Kunal.

See, what is the remainder after dividing the year by 4. If the remainder is 1 add 5 years to the given year. If the remainder is 2 add 11 to the given year. If the remainder is 3 adding 11 to the given year. So in the above question, they gave 2007. After dividing by 4. It gives the remainder as 3. So simply add 11 years to 2007. That will be 2018.

Hope it helps you.

This solution is not correct.

Rule:- 1.
If there are 2 leap years in 5 normal years then we can observe the same date and day.

Rule:- 2.
If there is not 2 leap years in 5 normal years then there is 1 leap year in 6 years then we can observe the same date and day.

Rule:-3.
If there is not even 1 leap year in 5 years and 6 years, then we can celebrate the same date and day after 11 years.

Given;

Year +6
2007+6=2013.

Find out how many leap year there in between 2007 and 2013.

there is 2008 and 2012 (2 Leap year).

If there is 2 Leap year then add 11 to the given question. It will be your answer.

2007+11 = 2018.
Instead of;
If there will be 1leap year while adding 6 in given question the answer will be given year +6= answer.

If in question there will be Leap year. Then add +5 it will be your answer.
