Even though 2008 is leap year the extra day will be added after Feb 28 but Jan 1 is before that so we just add 1 day of the given week. As given is monday. The next year same day of the week will be Tuesday (Monday+1).

The answer should be Wednesday.
Because 1jan 2007 till 1 Jan 2008 have Feb= 1odd day then 2008 is leap year so= 1odd day (since Feb is not included in 2008) so the answer should be Wednesday, right?

Yes, the right Answer is Tuesday because when the leap year comes during calculation decrease one number before only February.

if you want to get the date before 1 march on the basis year to the year difference;
we had 1 Jan 2001 on Monday the date which is less than 1 March,
*Add (+2) just after the leap year*
Jan 1, 2001, day:-Monday
Jan 1 2002:-Tuesday (+1), Normal year,
Jan 1 2003:-Wednesday(+1) Normal year,
Jan 1 2004:-Thursday(+1) Leap year,
Jan 1 2005:-Saturday(+2)Normal year which just after leap year.
And we had 2 March 2001 on Friday the date which is Greater than (or Equals to) 1 March,
*Add (+2)in the leap year*,
March 2 2001:-Friday (+1), Normal year,
March 2 2002:-Saturday (+1), Normal year,
March 2 2003:-Saturday (+1), Normal year,
March 2 2004:-Monday (+2), Normal year,
March 2 2005:-Wednesday (+1), Normal year.
