It will be Sunday.
As we know that calender repeats itself after every 400 years.
Doomsday's for that 400 years are.
1800 - 1899 Friday.
1900 - 1999 Wednesday.
2000 -2099 Tuesday.
2100 - 2199 Sunday.
So 1800. , 1400, 1000, 600, 200 all will have Friday as doomsday.
So 200 AD has Friday as doomsday.
100 AD has Sunday as doomsday.
0 AD has Tuesday as doomsday.
Now going forward in the intervals of 400 years from 0.
So 542695283200 AD (clearly divisible by 400) will have Tuesday as doomsday.
Now we have to calculate the doomsday of 17 th year of a century whose initial doomsday is Tuesday.
It will be similar to 2000-2099 (as 2000 has Tuesday as doomsday). So calculate the doomsday of 2017. That is Tuesday.
So 6 June of that year is Tuesday.
So clearly 25 June will be Sunday.

if you want to get the date before 1 march on the basis year to the year difference;
we had 1 Jan 2001 on Monday the date which is less than 1 March,
*Add (+2) just after the leap year*
Jan 1, 2001, day:-Monday
Jan 1 2002:-Tuesday (+1), Normal year,
Jan 1 2003:-Wednesday(+1) Normal year,
Jan 1 2004:-Thursday(+1) Leap year,
Jan 1 2005:-Saturday(+2)Normal year which just after leap year.
And we had 2 March 2001 on Friday the date which is Greater than (or Equals to) 1 March,
*Add (+2)in the leap year*,
March 2 2001:-Friday (+1), Normal year,
March 2 2002:-Saturday (+1), Normal year,
March 2 2003:-Saturday (+1), Normal year,
March 2 2004:-Monday (+2), Normal year,
March 2 2005:-Wednesday (+1), Normal year.

Correct Explanation Hear!
If the given period includes February month with leap year then only the odd day will be == 2.
Otherwise, it will be an odd day == 1.
Here, the give question,
Period = 1, JAN, 2007 To 1, JAN, 2008.
Where only one February month (Feb/2007).
And 2007 is not a leap year so it has odd day = 1.
If given range 1, Feb, 2007 to 1, Feb, 2008.
Then hear 2 February include 1. Feb 2007 and Feb 2008 so total odd day =1+2 =3.
Thank you.

No, It's Tuesday. Because one odd day that you guys are considering in 2008 being leap year will be originated when the question was asked after February because that will add one more day in February. Since Question asked for January than there is no concept of Leap Year.
Hope, now it will be cleared.

Even though 2008 is leap year the extra day will be added after Feb 28 but Jan 1 is before that so we just add 1 day of the given week. As given is monday. The next year same day of the week will be Tuesday (Monday+1).

The answer should be Wednesday.
Because 1jan 2007 till 1 Jan 2008 have Feb= 1odd day then 2008 is leap year so= 1odd day (since Feb is not included in 2008) so the answer should be Wednesday, right?

@All.
The answer is not Wednesday because:.
Even 2008 is a leap year but the period between 2007 Jan 1st and 2008 Jan 1st has only one odd day since 29th Feb is not in the period.

2007 Jan 1 to 2008 Jan 1 is 1 year, which means 1 odd day, so it would be Monday +1= tueday.
The jump would have been by 2 if the date in the question was after feb.
The jump would have been by 2 if the date in the question was after feb.

It is Friday @Dominic.
We are having 2 leap year in between those 7 years, so (5 + 4 = 9) 2 odd days.
Therefore 3 Jan1998 is Sunday which means Jan 1 is Friday.
