The only son of mother is himself(Suresh). So son of the only son(Suresh) i.e Suresh is the father of htat son...

MOTHER --> SURESH(ONLY SON) --> SON

Relation b/w Suresh & son is father and son relation...
Hope you understand Kanika :-)

In this question mentioned clearly is "only son" so suresh is the son of the mother then the son only son means suresh son.then suresh is the father of the son presented in the photograph. I hope you understand ?

As Suresh is the only son of his mother',so the son of the son means Suresh's son i.e he is the father.

In this types of questions to solve, follow right to left step by steps ...like

my mother's only son ->suresh (himself)-> son

So Suresh is the father of boy.

The question clearly pointed that - son of the only son of my mother (that boy is the son of mine and i'm the only son of my mother).

* mother-son(suresh)-son(boy)
Could you get it ?

Suresh Mother

Suresh [ the only son ]

His son

Therefore the father is the best alternative here
I hope this helps!

Split the sentence as,

1) He is the son.
2) The only son of my mother.

2 point means suresh itself.
now join both sentence, it becomes,
He is the son of suresh.
Therefore suresh is the father.
I hope it helps.
