Well, the answer is correct because due to the rising asthma cases the government has taken the decision to curb the pollution.

I think answer should be "A". People are having Asthma due to the increased Air Pollution. Here Asthma should be the effect and Cause should be Air Pollution.

I don't think the answer here is correct. There might be a cause and effect relationship here but there is not enough information to determine that. The city could be trying to reduce air pollution for many reasons (federal regulations being one example) that has nothing to do with the increase in asthma.

In this example answer could be option [E]. The statements can be effect of common cause increase in pollution. Can anybody explain the given answer [B]. Because I think it is wrong.
