Generally plastic is classified as thermoplastic and thermosetting plastic. Here thermoset plastic fuses on heating into a solid like structure and is not recyclable. Example : Bakelite (used for making switch board's).

Thermoset is more affected by heat. So their cross linkage was breaking after heating. So it does not rearrange to form the new one.

Can some one explain beta cos? I think that thermoset cannot be reshaped or remolded so why thermoset?
