|The ice cube might have been a bigger one OR the furnace might have been started seconds ago. If the furnace were not there, the cube would have melted sooner or later depending upon ambient temperature.
If the ice was in the refrigeration unit for a long time, still the furnace would melt it in seconds. So, option A.
