Milk can also be flavoured i.e. it can also be coloured due to the flavours added to it but it necessarily contains water because if water is not present in the milk than it is not milk but is milk powder so, according to me milk necessarily have water.

In older days milk didn't used to have more water then compared to now.
Now-a-days milk does not even contain cream or can not be converted into curd but it is still white irrespective of all other its components.

Even though water, curd and cream are removed from milk it will be white in color due to the reason that it is rich in calcium, Casein which helps contribute to milk's white color.

Friends it is not a fact that milk will always be white in colour as cow's milk is a little bit yellowish in colour and I also agree with the fact that Mr. Gaurav said.

Always milk is not white in colour. I think all the options are right so I agree with Lovecracker, the data is insufficient they (milk) can be of different colour.

We can't see water in the milk. As we can't see the water in milk how can you people tell that water is right. And water is 111% wrong. Right one is white.

Water will be the answer as milk has certain amount of water in it. Whiteness I will disagree as different mammals vary in the colour of milk they produce.

Whiteness in milk is due to casein protein and if we remove casein like then white color can also be removed so how can the answer be whiteness?

Whiteness of milk can be changed by adding color but water can never be removed as it is the major constituent.

Milk must be white in colour, because without other three, the existence of milk is possible. Like (dry milk).
