Glass: All traditional bulbs (incandescent, fluorescent, LED) are enclosed in a glass or transparent shell—this is essential for protecting internal components and allowing light to shine through.
Current: A bulb needs current to work, but it doesn’t always have current, like when it's switched off or unplugged.
Filament: Only incandescent bulbs have filaments. LED and fluorescent bulbs don’t.
Light: A bulb is designed to emit light, but it doesn’t always have light (e.g., when turned off or burnt out).
So, glass is the correct answer because it is a constant physical component of all standard bulbs.

Because of filament the bulb gets heated up when the current pass through it. As the filament gets heated up the heat we are able to see it as a light or illumination which is seen in visible range. So filament is the correct answer.

Common LEDs and LED light bulbs do not have a wire filament or any type of filament, because they produce light through a very different process than incandescent lights do.

Both the ans are correct, glass and filament are essential part of the bulb as filament is heated up it will glow + the glass helps to maintain vacuum Or gas in bulb.

I also think, its a filament as filament is more important part than glass. . As without glass, bulb glow but without filament with only glass bulb doesn't glow.

Not all bulbs use filaments. But I ve never seen a plastic bulb also or rather plastic bulbs are even more rare if at all there are any!. So its "FILAMENT".

Actually I fill D is correct but led lighting bulbs do not have a filament. That's why light is important for us. Mainly light is required for every people.

It's wrong to say that a bulb doesn't have glass. If it so then it's not bulb it is led.

It's not necessary to have a filament in bulb like CFL.

If we're talking about old bulbs, then glass is important just like filament, If we're talking about LED bulb, then there's no filament in that.

Fillament is the essential part of bulb as bulb is related to mainly illumination and filament is the essential part for that in the the bulb.
