A tomato is a fruit and it belongs to fruits. For those confused about it being a vegetable, it is not. It does NOT matter how it is used or viewed by the public, a TOMATO is STILL a FRUIT. There is no changing that. Therefore answer A is correct as Tomatoes belong to fruits and vegetables are different so they are outside.

Scientifically speaking, a tomato is definitely a fruit. True fruits are developed from the ovary in the base of the flower, and contain the seeds of the plant which tomato does. Hence it is a fruit. Therefore option A is correct.
