There are many ways to interpret the three circles. One possibility is that they represent the different sizes of the balls (or puck) , which would make option A the correct answer. Also, saying that the games have no relation to each other is absurd, as hockey and football are similar in nature. Unless of course it's America football.

Cant it be option A.
Reason being some thing common in all three games is 11 players are on the field. And hockey and football have same figure in the venn diagram because of the the playing field shape and that of cricket is different.

The answer should be D. Although they are three different games, there are some overlaps between them.
Hockey and Football share a scoring system, i.e. Goals. Football & Cricket are both played with a ball.

Option B is right.
The 1st circle related with 2nd then 2nd related with 3rd then 3rd not related with 1st.
If they are interconnected then it should be right. But here it is wrong option D.

There are 11 players in cricket, hockey as well as football. That's the common factor we have. So D should be the answer.
