Option D is correct. Because travelers is a big circle and small circle is bus and train.

OK people, lets put it the right way. No more confusion.
Option D could have been the best answer if there had been some intersecting region between the two small circles(inside the bigger circle), as people can travel by bus as well as train.
Option C is right because our approach is this way : 1. try to relate stuff 2. Do not lead to any contradiction.
Following the approach:
1. we related stuff in option D Closer than option C (hope you get what i mean by it)
2. But it lead to contradiction(as people can travel by bus as well as train.)
3. Now, trace back to the previous case, i.e. option C.
More Generally, the steps can be:
1. Arrange the options in order of increasing relationship.
ex. in this case A is more related than B.
C is more related than B.
D is more related than C.
therefore, the order is B, A, C, D.
2. Try to find some contradiction in The most related option.
ex. here it is D.
3. If contradiction not found
-> That is your answer
If contradiction found --> Repeat step 2 for the option immediately preceding The option you are on now.
Ex. We found contradiction for D.( people travel by bus & train both)
The option imm. preceding D is C, Therefore, Check For C.
No contradiction found for C, C is your Answer.
Note: This is an algorithm prepared by me for my own use. I don't claim validity of this algorithm. Still, It lands me on the correct option every time i have used it.
@Deepak : Answer cannot be D because people can travel by bus as well as train.
@Arun : Answer cannot be D because; the key to solving these type of questions is finding some kind of relationship among the given stuff. You are trying exactly opposite of it.

According to me, option d is correct.

Why not D if bigger circle indicate travelers and two small circle indicates bus and train then some of the travelers travel by bus and some of them travels by train and remaining of them can travels by another medium of transport.

Cause all travelers don't travel by Bus and Train at the same, some choose to Bus and some to Train for travelling.

Can anybody tell why option D not correct?
Arun said:

I guess A may be correct as bus and train are modes of transportation but travelars are not.

Excuse me but, if option D is correct then bus and train should be a part of travellers. Actually travellers are a part of bus and trains. If it was option B then all of 'em should have been different from each other and option a is absolutely wrong. So correct answer is option C.

Option D is correct. The middle region of the middle circle in option C shows that some "Travelers" do not travel, which is not correct.
