20.
1, 5, 5, 9, 7, 11, 11, 15, 12, 17
11
12
17
15
Answer: Option
Explanation:

The given sequence is a combination of two series:

I. 1, 5, 7, 11, 12 and II. 5, 9, 11, 15, 17

The pattern in both I and II is + 4, + 2, + 4, + 2. So, 12 is wrong and must be replaced by (11 + 2) i.e. 13.

The first letter followed by 5, 5 and one odd no are available. In this sequence continuously. But 12 followed by another no. So the no 12 is wrong in the series.

The difference is 4, 0, 4, 2, 4, 0, 4, 2 after this there should be a difference of 4 which means in the series there should be 16 instead of 17.
