Deduct 38 (that is last option) from 346 and you will get 308 which can be divided by 7.

17-10 = 7.
24-17 = 7.
31-24 = 7.

Therefore this is in AP. By applying AP formula we get.

An = A1+(n-1)D. Here A1 = 10 and D = 7. Substitute and work it out. If we get an as natural number then its the answer.

Only 346 will get an as natural as an= 47 others won't.

Leave the first digit, then take 7 as multiple of the next digits last numbers, then goes on multiplications, consider 17, 24, 31, 38,......as 7, 14, 21, 28, 35, 42, 49, 56.

Then 7*8 = 56 you will get the last digit as 6. Then check the answer having 6 as last digit. From the answer only 346 will be correct.

Why don't you think like this way?

In the given series each number is added with 7 so on adding 38 with 7 we get 45. Please correct me if thinking is wrong.
